A vacation that helps the sea


Do you care about protecting the sea but would like to do something concrete? 

Would you like your vacation to finally have a positive impact on the environment?


Spend your summer vacation participating as a key player in our weekly marine research and conservation program


Alongside a team of marine biologists, you will have the opportunity to see and study closely the most fascinating species in our sea,including sea turtles and dolphins, contributing to their protection. In addition, you will participate firsthand in field activities to discover how to monitor the health of a marine ecosystem as well as experience nature and birdwatching excursions in the Po River Delta Protected Park.

The activities will take place in the Lidi di Comacchio (FE), within the territory of the Po River Delta Regional Park. You will stay at our base, which has 2 flats immersed in the green pine forest of Lido di Spina (FE).

Period


You can choose one of the following week-long holiday packages (7 days and 6 nights). Each package will be activated with a minimum number of 4 participants up to a maximum of 6. Check-out for the last day indicated is by 12 noon.

  • Do I have to pay in a single solution?

    No. There is an initial deposit at the time of booking and a final payment which will be requested at a later time based on the day the deposit was paid.

  • Are there any participation requirements?

    It is possible to participate in the eco-camps only if you are adults. During the camps, a good spirit of adaptation and aptitude for teamwork is necessary. No particular swimming skills or any specific preparation are required.

  • Are school credits recognised?

    At the end of the holiday, a certificate of participation is issued with which it is possible to request the activity to be recognized for obtaining school credits. However, we recommend that you contact your school secretary to find out how to apply.

  • Do restaurant dinners have options for vegans or vegetarians?

    Yes, we collect information on any food preferences while booking.

  • How to reach the accommodation in Lido di Spina (FE)?

    By public transport we recommend reaching the Ravenna train station and from here, Piazzale Aldo Moro, take the 333 Ravenna-Codigoro bus line and get off at the “Lido di Spina – Barracuda” stop, a 10-minute walk from the accommodation.
